There are several breathing disorders from sleep walking, to obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), to narcolepsy. OSA is pictured here and accounts for approximately 90% of adult sleep disorders.

If they snore at all, have ADD/ADHD, any learning disability, breathe through their mouth, grind their teeth, wet the bed after age 5, need braces, or have recurrent ear or throat infections, they should have their airway evaluated.
